We talk a lot about what to expect from pregnancy, labor, and delivery, but we don’t always talk about the emotional expectations of motherhood. It can be exhausting and exhilarating, heartwarming and heartbreaking. When Mother's Day rolls around and it's our turn to be celebrated, a complicated mix of emotions and expectations can sometimes lead to stress.
As moms, we know that comfort is queen. In fact, new moms often wear comfy loungewear for months (even years!) after their babies are born. Moms deserve all the coziness, so this Mother's Day, we’re giving you 25% off our favorite loungewear. Whether you’re shopping for your friend, daughter, or yourself, make Mother’s Day extra special with the gift of comfort.
Discovering your baby’s gender may be one of the most exciting moments of your pregnancy. Some parents keep it to themselves, while others plan a party or family get-together with special food, decorations, or activities. Whether you cut into a cake to see if it’s pink or blue, shoot pink or blue confetti out of a cannon, or skip the typical color scheme altogether, go with whatever feels authentic to you.
A baby shower can be one of the most memorable pregnancy milestones. New-parent nerves (whether it’s the first, second, or fifth child) are usually in high gear—and for many, a party can be just the thing to help encourage, prepare, and celebrate the growing family. Not only is it a time to relax and celebrate, but also it’s a reminder for the parent or parents-to-be that their lives are full of family and friends ready to help support them through this journey. Since baby showers often have games, we’ve put together a mix of traditional and nontraditional activities to help get your gears turning.
Since new and expectant moms deserve a little extra love, we’ve compiled a list of some of our favorite items. Whether you’re shopping for your partner, friend, or daughter, make her Valentine’s Day extra special. We’ve also included some KB Moms’ favorite Valentine’s Day traditions and gift ideas.

One of the giving partnerships we’re incredibly proud of is Free the Girls, a non-profit organization that uses an economic empowerment model to help formerly trafficked women in developing countries start new lives of true freedom – as entrepreneurs selling donated bras in their local secondhand clothing markets, a simple premise that has transformed lives. We wanted to share a little about our relationship with this wonderful non-profit in the hopes that you’ll be similarly motivated to get involved.
The holiday season is rapidly approaching, and along with it, some colder weather. Although you’ve probably purchased everything needed to keep your baby warm and snug during the winter months, you’ll also want to make sure you’ve prepared yourself by stocking up on Kindred Bravely’s Cozy Essentials. These items guarantee comfort, and they make great gifts for any pregnant or nursing mama. Since every mom—especially a new one—deserves a little something to make her feel pampered and appreciated, this is the perfect opportunity to spread the love!
When my husband and I started planning our family, I knew we’d teach our children about the importance of being generous, and when we decided to start Kindred Bravely, I knew that giving would be part of our company’s DNA. As Kindred Bravely grows, we keep our company values front and center – and generosity is a huge part of that. From supporting non-profit organizations to helping people in our local communities, we’re always looking for ways to give back or pay it forward.

No matter what you get the mom-to-be, the gift of your support and encouragement are the most appreciated. If you’re local, be sure to drop food or a bag of groceries off in the coming weeks! Ask if you can help with an errand, or take an older child on a special outing so mom can have a much needed nap with the baby.
Thanksgiving is a time to celebrate with the ones we hold dearest – our little one/ones, significant others, and our dear friends and family. My family had our own Thanksgiving celebration this weekend, (before several families were traveling out of town for the week), and I got to spend time with some of the people I’m most thankful for. I’m also grateful for each of you because without your encouragement and support I would not have made it this far.
