Why are you recalling the Bamboo Nursing Hoodie?
We’ve become aware that a portion of our Bamboo Nursing Hoodie inventory experienced a manufacturing defect in which the plastic caps at the ends of the drawcord (the string that you pull to tighten the hood) can become unattached and pose a choking hazard to young children. While no complaints, injuries, or issues have arisen from this manufacturing defect, out of an abundance of caution, we're issuing a corrective action.
How can I tell if my hoodie is affected by the recall?
All Kindred Bravely Bamboo Hoodies purchased through December 2022 are impacted. If there are caps on the end of your hoodie’s drawcord, your hoodie is affected.
How can I take advantage of the recall?
Complete the corrective action steps detailed above, submit a photo showing the drawcords have been removed, and we will send you a gift card for $75 to use towards a www.kindredbravely.com purchase.
What is the problem with my Bamboo Nursing Hoodie?

My Bamboo Nursing Hoodie caps are secure; there’s no way they can be removed by a baby or child. Can I continue to use it as is?
No. Even though your caps appear to be secure, we are asking all customers to immediately stop using the hoodie and complete the repair to remove the drawcords and caps. Once completed, you will be eligible for a $75 gift card to use on www.kindredbravely.com.
I don’t have my receipt or order confirmation. Can I still participate in the recall?
Yes. You can still complete the corrective action and submit a photo of the corrected hoodie for a gift card.
Will I be able to complete the repair myself?
Yes, instructions for completing the repair can be found in the above video. All that’s needed is a pair of scissors.
How long will it take for me to receive the digital gift card?
Once you have submitted a photo showing the repair has been completed, allow 30 days for the approval of your repair and processing of your gift card. We apologize for any inconvenience.
