So Far So Good

I've only really gone for walks in these, so I haven't done much working out in them. But I like wearing them around the house and also under dresses to give a little support and so I feel free to move however I want in a dress without flashing anyone. They are a little thick for that purpose, so they don't work for every dress, but that also isn't what they're designed for, so it's not a drawback. They fit well right now in my second trimester, but I do think I'll have to size up for my third. In this case though, I don't mind because these shorts are intended to be athleisure and have a more supportive, structured fit. If they grew with me the whole time, they'd probably have to sacrifice some structure. Plus, I can use my second trimester shorts again during postpartum.

My favourite biking shorts!

Seriously, just get them! They come up so high so you don’t have to worry about the pp belly getting cold while you nurse or them falling down! They are so soft and comfortable and the pocket is so nice!

Soft & comfortable enough to keep

The material is great - super soft and has enough compression to be supportive without being uncomfortable. The over the belly part is definitely designed weird. Even at 8 months pregnant the top gaps in the front and the back reaches all the way PAST MY BRA in the back. Rolling it down is awkward and uncomfortable. I’m one that carries very out in front so I’m glad the over the belly part fits my big bump but the fit is still kind of weird. The legs are a little tight too, but I can’t imagine going bigger since the over the belly part is so tall and big. For reference: I got a small since that’s my pre pregnancy size and so far smalls have worked pretty well with other kindred bravely items I’ve purchased. (I’m 5’8” and pre-pregnancy I’m 125. Currently 8 months pregnant and ~160lbs.) however, because they are soft and supportive, AND HAVE POCKETS! I kept it. It works well enough but I don’t think I’d buy it again and I definitely won’t try the full length leggings as some the model pictures show the weird gapping in the front - I was hoping it would just not do that for me.

Good purchase

These are high quality shorts and I love them a lot.. however at 34 weeks I am not able to use them because of how tightly they squeeze my thighs. I weigh 135 pre pregnancy and am very excited for the support they’ll provide PP. I am glad I bought them!!

Comfy

Love these shorts. They are long enough to protect my thighs from rubbing. They are soft. They are stretchy. They can’t possibly create a muffin top. They have pockets.
