How big of a nursing bra should I buy?
You won’t be able to predict how your boobs will respond to pregnancy and breastfeeding. In fact, one of the most common mistakes new nursing moms make is buying their nursing bras too soon. Your cup size might not change at all, or your breasts might grow up to 4 cup sizes. Every woman is different – your bra size can even change from one pregnancy to the next. Your boobs might change more throughout your breastfeeding journey, especially if you become engorged or have an oversupply of milk.
We recommend waiting a bit after delivery to purchase new nursing bras. This will give your milk supply time to come in and regulate after delivery. If you’re looking to buy a nursing bra before delivery, wait until your eighth month of pregnancy. By then, your body has undergone most of the major changes, and your boobs will be similar in size to how they will be postpartum.
How many nursing bras do I need?
