“We do a heart-themed dinner. I make whatever they’re into eating at the time. Dye the milk pink, cut the sandwich into a heart. Last year, I cut up string cheese into heart shapes. I sprinkled pink sprinkles over it, threw some appropriately colored/shaped fruit on the plate, etc.: easy, cheap, and reproducible in its own way every year. I also like to use Valentine’s Day-themed paper plates and napkins. And of course, we all wear pink/red during the day.”
