Is it good for skin‑to‑skin and nursing right after birth?
Yes. Snap‑down straps and front snaps let you nurse and do skin‑to‑skin without fully removing the gown.
Can I wear this gown for both vaginal birth and C‑section?
Yes. Flexible fit and back and front openings make it suitable for either birth type.
Will this gown work postpartum too?
Definitely. Many nursing moms use it for recovery, nursing (as a nursing nightgown), and lounging in the early days after birth.
What is a labor and delivery gown, and how is it different from a hospital gown?
A labor and delivery gown is designed for giving birth—with breastfeeding access, IV-friendly sleeves, and a fit that accommodates your changing body. It’s far softer and more functional than a standard-issue hospital gown.
Do hospitals allow you to wear your own labor and delivery gown?
Most do, but it’s best to check with your provider or hospital ahead of time. Our gowns are designed with all the access points medical staff need.
Should I pack more than one labor and delivery gown in my hospital bag?
Many moms bring two labor gowns—one for labor and one for recovery (and those first photos). That way, you’ll feel fresh, especially if your first gown becomes soiled during birth.
