Excited to wear this!
Haven't worn yet, I deliver in Oct bout I tried it on for my husband and it's awesome! Thanks for allowing me ease with style as I deliver! I'll def be giving one as a gift to my future Mom friends!
This is an odd review,
This is an odd review, because I don't actually own one or had one during my delivery. But I wish I did. I didn't pack anything to be worn in hospital because it was impossible to find affordable maternity gowns that would have been appropriate. I got stuck in the hospital gowns. Tho hospital gowns were rough, oversized, uncomfortable, and thin. I was miserable during my stay. I felt so gross. I wish I had purchased these. Ladies, I did it the cheap "you don't need pajamas in hospital, don't ruin pajamas, save nice clothes for home, wear what they give you, etc." and I regret it. I might have felt half human if I only had something comfy, practical, and pretty to wear. Spend the $32. It's worth every penny.
Great in postpartum and as nursig pajamas!
I wore this labor and delivery gown in postpartum when visitors came to see us in the hospital. I was able to have my son skin-to-skin and still velcro the front for modesty. I wear this at home as pajamas, and I love that the "rough" velcro can be folded over and fastened when the front of the gown is open, so that it doesn't scratch me or the baby. The material is soft and the print is nice (I have the "yellow flowers" print). It also washed up nicely after our hospital stay.
Best labor bag buy
I am so happy that this gown was available in time for my labor and delivery! The design is fantastic for labor and post partum. The front Velcro closure allows easier access for adjusting heartbeat monitors during labor and the double sided design means your baby won't get scratched by the Velcro hook during nursing! Fabric is soft but doesn't get too warm and the pockets are a necessary add my other gown didn't have. I am 5'5" and normally wear a 1X and the XXL was perfect. Also got lots of compliments on the gown- both the design/function and look of it. I've ordered another one to have for the first few weeks of recovery at home as they are perfect for nursing too!
While I haven't used this for a labor/delivery gown yet (baby is due June 8) I have worn it as a nightgown since I got it. I got the gray color and its really pretty! It washed well and is really soft and comfortable, I can only imagine it will get softer with each wash! This is definitely going in my labor bag!
